A Path to Reconciliation: Acknowledging the History to Inform an Equitable Future
A path of reconciliation must span multiple areas that impact our daily lives. The environment, media, community, education, and policy are some examples of fields essential for studying history to inform the past. Racial reconciliation, education, and advocacy are prevalent conversations currently in many circles and industries. Unfortunately, many people and organizations do not know where to begin on the path to reconciliation. This presentation provides an interdisciplinary discussion with context and practical information and steps for navigating reconciliation waters regardless of one’s status or level in this work
